Portable hospital-grade air purifier developed for Scandinavian hospitals, and trusted by businesses globally
The Rensair air purification technology was developed decades ago for Scandinavian hospitals, meeting strict air quality requirements.
Today, the Rensair air purifier is trusted by some of the largest companies globally as we continue to pursue our mission of bringing clean air to every space.

HEPA filters are mechanical filters with a capacity for sifting small particles at a much higher rate than any other conventional filter. HEPA stands for high-efficiency particulate air and refers to filters made in accordance with specific requirements. Hospital grade HEPA filters are H13 HEPA and above.
UVC light at 254nm inactivates bacteria and viruses by breaking down the DNA and RNA in them, thereby effectively destroying them. The UVC irradiation dose needed for inactivation varies from pathogen to pathogen. Due to Rensair’s patented design, any bacteria or virus caught on the HEPA filter surface will be exposed to a constant and high irradiation dose meaning the filter is continuously disinfected.
GERMAGIC™ is a germicidal technology developed by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Chiaphua Industries Limited Joint Laboratory of Innovative Environmental Health Technologies.
It is an antimicrobial coating which gives “contact-killing”, “release-killing” and “anti-adhesion” abilities to HEPA filters. Unlike conventional antimicrobial technologies which solely rely on contact-killing, GERMAGIC™ releases Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in a controlled-manner, allowing germicidal effect in the coating’s proximal area.
GERMAGIC™ is effective against bacteria, fungi and viruses. It is most notable to be effective against Avian Flu, Swine Flu and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus. GERMAGIC™ is also among the first HEPA filters to have undergone viral aerosol virucidal tests.
The Rensair air purifier was developed decades ago by Henrik Hendriksen, a Danish engineer and inventor. For five years he represented Norway at the indoor climate association EUROVENT, helping to set the industry standard for truly clean air. His life-long experience with ventilation technology, combined with a desire to help relieve his son’s severe allergies, led to the development of the Rensair air purifier.
Today, Henrik’s twin sons Frederik and Christian Hendriksen continue to manufacture and distribute this technology worldwide.
